However, the difference between the two is that while GoDaddy Deluxe limits emails to 500 and databases to 25, Hostgator Baby plan offers unlimited emails and domain, though this may not matter to many. Also, GoDaddy offers a free domain with each annual plan.

Both plans are excellent. Choosing between them will be determined by your needs. If price is a factor and only a few sites are to be hosted, then it is a foregone conclusion that GoDaddy is the one to go with. Both hosts offer great hosting for big sites. If you need a user-friendly panel, web email or high speed, then Hostgator is perfect for you. But if you are a beginner, then you should try GoDaddy for its free email.
